Dog Food

Evermore is a complete and balanced diet for adult dogs on its own, and it also makes a great kibble topper. Use our feeding suggestions below to determine how much to feed your dog daily. Keep in mind that these recommendations are for feeding adult dogs an exclusive Evermore diet, so adjust accordingly if using as a partial diet or topper. We base our calculations on feeding 2.5-3.5% of your pet's body weight daily. Toy breeds under 10 pounds will need a higher percentage. If you would like personalized feeding help, or if you wish to feed Evermore to a puppy, please contact us at support@evermorepetfood.com.

Evermore's Dog Food comes in 1 lb. (16 oz.) pouches.

Storing and Thawing

Evermore is sold frozen, which is the best way to store it long-term. Prior to feeding, thaw in the fridge overnight. To thaw more quickly, submerge sealed pouch in a bowl of hot (not boiling) water for about 15-30 minutes or leave on the counter for a few hours. Once thawed, it will keep for about a week, just like your own fresh, home-cooked food.

We prefer storing opened, thawed food in a resealable container (e.g. Pyrex); however, many of our customers enjoy the convenience of keeping the food in the pouch and just sealing it with a small binder clip.

Serving

Evermore is a nutritious, dense food that does not require adding extra water during our cooking process. Some people like adding a bit of hot water just to warm it up (including Alison, for Connor).

Once in your pet's bowl, we recommend taking an extra minute to fluff it with a fork before serving.  We may be biased, but we think you will be delighted when you watch it transform from its thawed rectangular form into what we think is just beautiful, appetizing food. Sometimes we wonder if we do this step more for ourselves than for our pets.

Transitioning

Our recipes are gentle on the digestive tract, and most customers report switching with no intestinal distress. Still, it is always best to introduce any new food by gradually mixing it with the old.

Many pets experience noticeable health benefits from switching to Evermore. Within a month or so of even partial feeding, your pet may begin to shed excess weight, have more energy, and sport a shinier coat. Also, be prepared for additional side effects such as extreme excitement at meal times and improved stools.
