Rather than asking you to spend your remaining hours of 2020 hearing our perspectives on it, we decided to cap off a very intense year with a little levity.
Twenty twenty began with a bang When we gathered the Evermore gang And treated our kitchen To brunch that was bitchin’ And in the new decade we rang
Come March, we had finally planned To make cat food better than canned Along came a plague The future grew vague We locked down and did not expand
While the rest of the world learned to cope We were not at the end of our rope We could get more food made With no items delayed Plus our home office setups were dope
We thought we were golden until Our superstar Erin fell ill Thank God she got well Now able to smell Your orders she helps us fulfill
In one awesome turn for this year The shelters were suddenly clear Adoptions are up And every new pup Greets their bowl with Evermore cheer
Just this quarter our trio has grown We were able to find Erin’s clone! Took steps to enlist her Yes, Leah, her sister With mad skills, our minds she has blown
But whatever happened to cat? We find ourselves back up to bat And with R&D We’re talking Q3 (If you’ve got a tester, let’s chat!)
There’s no question this year has been hard And the loved ones we hold in regard We have kept far away And continue to pray For all those whose whole lives have been scarred
We could not survive without you Our customers loyal and true So let’s lift our masks Take drinks from our flasks And toast to a year that is new
See ya, 2020. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!
